The Geneseo Police Department received a Legislative Grant in the amount of $9,000 to purchase a new Speed Trailer. The grant was made possible by Senator Dale Volker.

The Speed Trailer is equipped with a statistical package, which records the number of vehicles that pass it, the speed of the vehicles and the time of day.

This statistical information is useful for traffic surveys, as well as knowing what times of the day additional speed enforcement is necessary and on which roadways.
