Officer Edward Kenney graduated with an AAS in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Monroe Community College.  Officer Kenney is currently pursuing a Baccalaureate Degree from the University of Buffalo and Empire College. Officer Kenney has been a New York State University Police Officer since 1984.  

A former Officer at SUNY Geneseo, recently transferred to SUNY Alfred.  Officer Kenney is a Criminal Justice Instructor for two years at Genesee Valley BOCES in Mount Morris and a New York State Certifed Firearms Instructor and Police Topics Instructor.   

Officer Kenney is a recipient of the New York State Governors Award for Valor and the State University of New York Chief's Award for Life Saving. Officer Kenney has also obtain numerous other awards, certifcates and achievements.   Between full time and part time employment has aquired over 28 years of police experience.
