Chief Eric Osganian Minimize

Chief Eric Osganian is a graduate of the State University of New York at Geneseo. He received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics in 1991. 2006MADD- ALbany2.jpg

He began his law enforcement career at the Allegany County Sheriff's Office as a Sheriff's Deputy in 1991. He graduated from the Southern Tier Law Enforcement Academy in Corning, New York in 1992.  

In 1992, he obtained employment with the Geneseo Police Department as a police officer. In 2003, he was promoted to Sergeant. In 2004, he was promoted to Chief of Police.

Chief Eric Osganian resides in the Village of Geneseo with his wife and four children.

Located in the County Seat of Livingston County, New York, we serve approximately 8,000 residents and continuously strive to provide professional, community oriented law enforcement services. We are very proud of our commitment to the community and the partnerships we have formed along the way, realizing that safety and quality of life are both personal and shared responsibilities.
